Poor Travel Conditions Predicted For New York State
The winter is not over yet here in New York State. The groundhog may have predicted an earlier spring, however we need to deal with a lingering winter first. The cold and blowing snow will be here this weekend.
There are some locations in New York State that really have not seen much snow this season. Rochester has escaped the snow for the most part this year and as move through the second half of February, the spring is that much closer and so is the winter finish line. Unless a major lake effect storm passes over the 585 area code, it looks like the snow totals will be less than average.
The National Weather Service is calling for a nasty weekend for some as a brief return to winter is coming.
There are some cars that you may want to avoid being on the road with this weekend as Old Man Winter makes his return.

Those who live in an area with frequent lake-effect snow storms know that the driving conditions can go from dry and clear to ice and snow within a mile or two.
