Buffalo Bills Player Posts Yet Another Cryptic Tweet
Social media has completely changed the way that NFL fans consume free agent or any off-season news. Back in the day (only 15-20 years ago), fans would only get news updates from SportsCenter, The NFL Network or radio programs.
Now, Twitter gives fans a birds-eye view into the rumors, insights and even thoughts from the players themselves at any given moment.
The Buffalo Bills have stayed active through the first two weeks of free agency, adding mostly offensive players but did sign free agent safety Taylor Rapp on Monday.
There are rumors surrounding the Bills, most notably with Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins could be traded before the NFL Draft in late April and NFL reporter Aaron Wilson said late last week the Bills were headlining the teams who were interested.
Would any trade involve Bills defensive end Boogie Basham?
Basham made some news last week with a cryptic tweet and on Monday, had his second cryptic tweet which left many Bills fans wondering.
Here's the first.
Here's the second tweet.
Basham was a second round draft pick in 2021 but has not made a big impact on the Bills defense since he was drafted out of Wake Forest. It remains unclear how much of a role he would play if he stays with Buffalo, since he is behind both Von Miller and Greg Rousseau.
If the Bills trade for Hopkins it would make sense for a player going back to Arizona and they need big time help along the defensive line...Boogie Basham or even Ed Oliver make sense to be on the trading block.
