The Buffalo Bills have made an addition at cornerback.

They traded a 3rd round pick to the Green Bay Packers for Rasul Douglas and a 5th round pick. The hope is the Bills get a compensatory pick for losing linebacker Tremaine Edmunds in free agency, so they get Douglas for cheap.

Douglas is 28 years old and signed through next season. He broke out with the Packers the last two seasons and will immediately become the Bills new number one cornerback, with Tre'Davious White out for the season.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane spoke with the media on Wednesday. He said getting a cornerback was a priority but also said they made calls on offensive players, which might suggest wide receiver.

The Bills did not have to make a roster move to acquire Douglas. However, they also added running back Leonard Fournette to the practice squad. Could they be signing yet another well-known veteran to the practice squad?

Beane said that "nothing is final, but we have been working on some stuff", when talking about adding to defensive tackle.

CJ Caggiano, who has broken stories before at One Bills Drive, said that there’s a rumor he’s heard the Bills were kicking the tires on former Lions and Buccaneers defensive tackle, Ndamunkong Suh. This could suggest that’s a very real possibility.

Suh is 36 years old but did play last year for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted 3rd overall in 2010 by the Detroit Lions and is a former all-pro and pro bowl player. He's not a starter anymore, but a rotational defensive tackle. He could be who Beane alluded to in his press conference.

Buffalo lost DaQuan Jones to a torn pectoral and have dealt with other injuries along the defensive line.

The Bills are not done yet bringing in veterans.
