We're less than one week away from the NFL trade deadline and if last year was any indication, this year's deadline should be very busy.

For years, the NFL trade deadline was nothing to write home about. You may have gotten two or three trades, if that. The last several years have seen increased activity and last year was a chaotic day for trades -- which mirrored the NHL or NBA trade deadlines.

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane made two trades last year: first was trading away running back Zack Moss and a 2023 5th round pick to the Indianapolis Colts for running back Nyheim Hines. The second was a draft pick sent to the Falcons for safety Dean Marlowe.

Beane could very well be a buyer again, with his defense having mounting injuries and struggles on offense. Fans want the Bills to make one or two moves to better themselves for a playoff run.

Wide receiver has been a huge talking point: could Buffalo be in trade discussions for Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver, Hunter Renfrow?

Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report is reporting that the Raiders are hard at work to get a trade completed before Halloween (the trade deadline). Renfrow and the Raiders have agreed they need to part ways.

Renfrow started off his career as Derek Carr's safety blanket; he was very effective in short passes and a red zone threat. New head coach Josh McDaniels and Renfrow have not been on the same page, however.

The Bills could use a Cole Beasley type player and Renfrow would be a perfect fit for Josh Allen in the middle of the field.

Renfrow's contract has held up a trade so far; his cap hit is $13 million in 2023. The Raiders would have to eat some of that to facilitate a trade. No contender like the Chiefs or Bills (or the Eagles) would be able to take on that cap hit as is.

He's only 27 years old and seemingly still has value to teams in the NFL.

It appears Renfrow will be traded but to who? We will have to wait and see.
