Buffalo Bills New Super Bowl Odds Are Shockingly Good
The Buffalo Bills 2023 season is officially back to tempered optimism after a huge win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium.
The Bills won 20-17 and the offense scored and provided support in the first half, while the defense made plays when they needed it the most. They held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense to just 17 points.
Amazingly, despite the fact the Bills won to improve to 7-6, and the fact they're only one game back of the Chiefs, they are still 11th in the AFC.
You might just assume the Bills are at least middle of the pack in terms of Super Bowl odds. Nope.
Draft Kings Sportsbook has the Bills with the 7th best odds in the NFL to win it all now (+1800). The only teams with better odds currently are the 49ers, Eagles, Dolphins, Ravens, Cowboys and Chiefs. Basically, the Bills went from 35-1 to 18-1 after week 14.
The Bills AFC East championship odds went drastically up as well.
The Bills still need help to win the AFC East, since they still are two games back of Miami. If they win the next three games and the Dolphins lose one more game, then the week 18 matchup in Miami would be for the division crown, since the Bills already won the first matchup against the Dolphins and would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker.
If the Bills are able to beat the red hot Dallas Cowboys this Sunday in Orchard Park, then everyone will be assuming Buffalo will make the playoffs, with the Chargers and Patriots the next two opponents. The Chargers are spiraling downward and lost Justin Herbert for the remainder of the season, while the Patriots have the league's worst offense.
