It’s the Halloween bash that everyone is talking about, and the fear of missing out is unreal.

The Backlot Entertainment Venue, located at Braun’s Concert Cove, is hosting the Rockin' Halloween Haunt Fest, also known as Buffalo’s Biggest Halloween Party, on October 30th.

About The Event

Five local bands will be performing on stage that evening, including your favorites: Box of Wine, Hair Nation, Mid Life Crisis, Jess and the Mess, and Over The Edge.

The Backlot is an outdoor music venue, but it is covered by a metal roof, so the event will go on rain or shine.

Not only will the decorations be realistic and spooky, but you could win $1,000 for showing up in costume on Beggar’s Night.

Since it’s the weekend of Halloween, it is only fitting that there will be a Halloween costume contest that features a $1,000 grand prize, so you will want to start looking for your costumes now.

And while the cash prize is nice, I personally think this is the best part: First Responders Night. All firefighters, EMT’s, police officers, and first responders will receive free admission to the event as a way to say thank you for your service.

The event goes on all night from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with music to take your Halloween weekend to the next level. Reds food truck from East Aurora will be at the concert, and there will be a cash-only bar with ATMs available.

You can get your tickets to the show here.

What’s New About The Backlot?

You might remember what it looked like before at Braun’s Concert Cove, but have you been there since it became The Backlot?

The bar is brand new at the entertainment venue, along with a new control booth and a new lighting and sound system. The lights that accompany the bands on stage are incredible, and it adds to their shows. The venue only recently reopened and more improvements are anticipated for the following year.
