We know that the cold weather is on its way.  But let us warm your thoughts for a minute.  Picture it, you sitting on the lawn, or maybe under the brand spanking new pavilion, cold beer in your hand, getting ready to rock your face off as the cool summer breeze blows in, and the sun sets behind the stage over Lake Erie.  Sure, no rock shows have been officially booked yet at the yet-to-be-named Amphitheater, but the above scenario is now one step closer to reality.

The new venue, which is being built on the site of the abandoned Terminal B Warehouse, and seven acres of the adjacent contaminated inaccessible property is now under construction. The new events center is expected to be completed by the fall of 2023, so the summer concert season of 2024 should have an all-new incredible feel to it.

Governor Hochul said in a statement:

"Projects like Terminal B's transformation are critical to my administration's continuing efforts to invigorate and elevate the unique cultural attractions that make Buffalo so special," she went on to say"This new, one-of-a-kind events center will convert abandoned and contaminated property into performance space and access to revitalized green space,"

The construction will reduce the Terminal B structure down to its metal frame skeleton, before transforming it into the new venue with a canopied stage, and an exterior sloped lawn.
