Opening for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood is a once in a lifetime opportunity, but Chris Janson probably didn't expect it to look like this.

During one of Brooks' multiple shows at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena in December of 2017, Janson had a pretty special moment during his opening set. While performing his emotional new single, "Drunk Girl," the singer requested that the crowd light up their phones.

The response was incredible.

Footage captured from the performance shows the 20,000-seat arena twinkling with fairy lights as Janson sits at his piano and sings, "Pick up her life she threw on the floor / Leave the hall lights on walk out and lock the door / That's how she knows the difference between a boy and man / Take a drunk girl home."

Janson was one of several performers who took part in Brooks and Yearwood's finale North American dates of their World Tour. Chris Young opened another show, and Kelsea Ballerini joined Yearwood onstage for one of her biggest hits, "She's in Love With the Boy."

Brooks' three-year World Tour sold more than 6 million tickets, but he's probably not done, recently hinting at possibly doing a stadium tour at some point in the future. "I can promise you this, for those people wondering what our future is — 2019, if these guys can pull off what they say it is — 2019 is going to make everything look small that we've done," Brooks tells Taste of Country. "So we're excited. We're excited to get to swing the bat."

Janson's "Drunk Girl" is the second single from his Everybody album that came out in September 2017.
