It's the place where a kid can be a kid and there's a new one that just opened in North Buffalo with some brand new features no other location in New York has.

Before yesterday, there was only one Chuck E. Cheese location left in western New York.  Ley were down to just the one in the Milestrip Plaza in Blasdell after the other location in Amherst shut down in 2020.

They announced that a new location would be opening by the end of the year and yesterday was the big day.

If it's been awhile since you've been in a Chuck E. Cheese, it might be a little different from what you remember as a kid.  You won't find creepy animatronic band members anymore that put on a show every couple of minutes.  Those big ball pits and gerbil-style tunnels are gone too.  Now they've got a huge video wall with an interactive dance floor for kids to move to without feeling trapped like they used to.  Of course they still have all the video games with tickets and prizes.  The food is still a huge feature too.  They've got a salad bar and that pizza that you secretly love is still the main item on the menu.

This new location is one of a kind in New York State.  It's the first one to have its own indoor adventure zone with a trampoline zone and an indoor obstacle course that the kids can run through to get all their energy out.

You can stop in to check out the new store at 2638 Delaware Avenue starting this weekend.
