The fall is here and the kids are back in school! As the weather starts to change and the leaves drop, your kids may have changed their plan for a Halloween costume a dozen times. The good news is that there are so many great things to do around Western New York this spooky season.

This past weekend was the grand re-opening of the Chuck E. Cheese's in Hamburg/Blasdell area. The chain has just announced it's "Monster Menu" for the season. From pumpkin pepperoni pizzas to slime cookies, there is a wide variety of fun foods for your ghost or goblin.

Plus, enjoy free delivery with any $20 minimum purchase when you order direct through chuckecheese.com with promo code “BOO“- also includes activity sheet.

After or before you eat, perhaps you want to take the family on a hayride or pick a pumpkin? The Nightmare Hayride in Ellicottville or a trip to Pumpkinville are both great for those south of Buffalo. There is the Great Pumpkin Farm, Becker Farms and Fright World for those in or north of Buffalo!

The Halloween season seems to start earlier and earlier every year. The Erie County Fair was not even over done with it's 12 day run and many stores had candy and pumpkin spice options available on shelves! But as a life long Western New York resident, I embrace it and so does the family. Our kids are 6, 4 and 2 years old and they LOVE everything Halloween! I may even join them again for some trick or treating this year.
