He started here as an intern when he was a teenager.  He'd help out around the station and at remotes and other appearances working without pay.  But you could see it right away.

He was so dedicated as an intern that he was offered a job, first as a part timer, then full time working the evening shift.  Eventually he moved to mornings, and we've sat across from each other every morning ever since.

And now, some big honors for Clay Moden.  He's been nominated by the Buffalo Broadcasters Association for Radio Personality of the Year. The presentation of the second annual Buffalo Excellence in Media Awards will be made on Friday, April 26 at Salvatore's Italian Gardens.

I can never say enough about Clay.  He amazes me daily with his wit, and I've seen him grow from a bright-eyed kid to an impressive adult.  He's a buddy, but he's almost like a son, and I can't tell you how proud of him I am.

Voting is restricted to members of the Buffalo Broadcasters Association.  Good luck to Clay on his nomination for some well-deserved recognition.
