Buffalo Bills Legend Feeling Physical Toll of Playing Football
The Buffalo Bills have never won a Super Bowl but if you ask any Bills fan, they will tell you that they have a lifetime worth of memories anyway.
The Bills have seen playoff runs in the '90s and again over the last few seasons with quarterback Josh Allen. The players that have made up the current team, along with the teams of the '90s, are forever in the hearts of Buffalonians.
The four straight Super Bowl appearances have lived on as folklore in NFL history, and features many legendary players: Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, etc.

Another popular player was linebacker Darryl Talley.
Talley played for the Bills from 1983-1994 and was a key piece in the Bills championship defense of the late '80s and early '90s.
Talley did not make the Hall of Fame but was put on the Bills' Wall of Fame in 2003. He's been a champion for the Buffalo community as well.
Unfortunately, like many former NFL players, the toll of playing professional football for that long is taking its toll on the body.
Talley's wife, Janine, tweeted that Darryl had a hard time getting out of his chair yesterday. Talley is 62 years old.
Janine asked her husband if it was worth it? Talley said that he would do it all over again. Darryl says, "it was the most fun I've had in my life."
Talley has always been a fan-favorite and after that quote, he's likely to win over even more fans.
There's now an entire generation that doesn't remember the Super Bowl teams or was not born yet.
If that's you (I am that age group), go back and watch those teams.
