Hugely Popular Restaurant Finally Opening a Location in Buffalo
It's that time of the year that comfort food is craved. The temperatures are getting colder, which means warm and comforting food is sought out by Buffalonians.
Chicken wings, beef on weck and French onion soup is some of the most popular comfort foods in Buffalo. Fried chicken in general is super popular any time of year, but even more so in the fall and winter.
Western New York doesn't have as big a selection in fast food chains but that's has changed in recent years, with Chick-fil-A bringing three locations to the area. There's also talk of Raising Cane's coming eventually to Western New York, but if you want some fried chicken, there's another national chain that is finally bringing a location to Buffalo in two weeks.

Buffalo Business First is reporting that Dave's Hot Chicken is opening its first location in Buffalo on November 16th.
The location will be at 1660 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst. It's in the old site of Qdoba and next to Sketchers. It's across from The Boulevard plaza.
Dave's Hot Chicken was founded in Los Angeles, California back in 2017. Despite only being open for six years, they have opened up over 100 locations now; garnering popularity in food review videos on social media sites such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
They serve hot chicken, which originated in Nashville, Tennessee. You can pick from a variety of spice levels, including plain chicken. They serve both tenders and sandwiches, with pickles and crinkle fried. They also have a dipping sauce, similar to Cane's sauce.
There's also another location in the works for Transit Road as well!
