Dawson Knox’s Emotional Tweet Brings Buffalo Bills Fans to Tears
The Buffalo Bills had one of the most satisfying wins in the last several years on Sunday.
The Bills beat the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium to improve to 5-1 and drops the Chiefs to 4-2.
There are so many takeaways from the game but one of the biggest was the obvious stellar play from Bills quarterback Josh Allen, as he threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns.
Allen has thrown 10 touchdown passes with zero interceptions in his last three meetings with the Chiefs. A couple touchdowns have gone to tight end Dawson Knox, including the game-winner yesterday.
The touchdown was Knox's first of the 2022 regular season and it was an emotional win for him and the Bills; not only because it was against their archrival, but because of what Knox has gone through the last few weeks.
Knox's younger brother Luke passed away back in August at the age of 22.
On Monday, Dawson tweeted love for his brother after the Bills victory.
Luke Knox was a football player as well, entering this season with Florida International.
Dawson Knox and his family have endured an unimaginable past two months and while stepping away from football for a while would have been completely understandable, Knox chose to play.
Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs talked about that after the win.
"He could have take some time away from football and really spent it with his family," said Diggs, "and he decided to continue to play," added Diggs.
The Bills organization and the Western New York community continues to think of the Knox family.
