If you read the politics section of The Buffalo News, you may have already seen the comment that Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick made that is bringing him to the national spotlight tonight on Comedy Central's The Daily Show.

Last Sunday Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick was quoted by the Buffalo News as saying that , "“It’s like being next in line for concert tickets when the ticket window closes,”  He was kind of saying that the Republican primary in New York State didn't matter.  Once Rick Santorum dropped out of the race and Mitt Romney won the primaries in Michigan and Wisconsin, it feels like it's kind of a sealed deal.

Evidently, Comedy Central's producers saw this column and have decided to put together a skit for tonight's show where Legislator Hardwick dreams of a Republican primary that matters in New York State.  The show is slated to air at 11 p.m. today, and again at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
