Former WYRK DJ Releases A Buffalo Themed Novel

There is a crime thriller to add to your collection and it is based right here in the Queen City!

A big congratulations is in order to former WYRK radio host and music director, Pat O’Brien.

Pat was one of the first people that I met when I became a member of the team here at WYRK and he has gone on to do some great things here in Western New York!

The most recent project for Pat has him becoming a novelist and releasing his first ever novel which takes place in the Buffalo area.

I grew up in the Tug Hill region of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY - but I have considered myself to be a Buffalonian ever since I came to Buffalo to go to Canisius College. I married my beautiful wife Kerry and we have a large wonderful family!

There are so many great references to Buffalo in the surrounding area that you will love inside of this novel and it has gotten some amazing reviews.

I always enjoy watching people achieve their dreams and working hard to get to their goals. Much like when we see athletes in the Olympics compete and win a medal or make it to a certain level, seeing paddle Brian release this novel is very exciting for us who are friends and family of his. Pat has worked hard not only to write this novel but to promote it and also to do the research to make sure that what he is mentioning is as accurate as possible in terms of setting.
