Who’s Your Genesee Grinder?

For 150 years, Genesee has celebrated the hardworking people who help keep our communities moving forward. The grinders. The people who wake up early, stay late, put in the work, and never ask for recognition. They’re the backbone of Western New York and the reason our communities continue to thrive every single day.

Now, Genesee wants to shine a spotlight on those everyday grinders across Buffalo and Western New York.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized? Maybe it’s a nurse working long shifts, a first responder always ready to answer the call, a member of the military, a construction worker, bartender, dishwasher, bar back, teacher, coach, or anyone who works hard day in and day out without looking for attention or praise. These are the people who show up, stand tall, and get the job done no matter what.
