The number one story right now surrounding the Buffalo Bills (other than the viral Ken Dorsey video), is the injury concern.

The Bills have lost both safety Micah Hyde and tackle Tommy Doyle for the rest of the season, while Jordan Poyer, Dane Jackson, Ed Oliver, Jordan Phillips, Christian Benford, Jake Kumerow and Ryan Bates are all dealing with injuries to varying degrees.

The one aspect of the Bills which has excellent through the first three weeks is the pass rush.

Von Miller has been a tremendous addition to the Bills defensive front and so has been Jordan Phillips, Tim Settle and DaQuan Jones. The Bills are first in the NFL in pass rush based on analytics from PFF and ESPN.

Believe it or not, Von Miller does not lead the Bills in sacks. He has two sacks through three weeks.

Second-year edge rusher Greg Rousseau leads the Bills with sacks with 3.5. That's a pace for just over 19 sacks this season.

The chances of Rousseau getting 19 sacks when all is said and done are low but he's well on his way to double digits and it's in part because of the presence of Miller and the new defensive tackles, but also because of Rousseau's frame and skillset that allowed him to be a first-round draft pick for Buffalo in 2021.

Rousseau has all the makings to be an elite edge rusher for years to come and it looks like he's having his breakout season in the NFL.
