Here Are The Times For The Tree Lighting Ceremonies In Western New York
As we make out way through Thanksgiving week, the next holiday season will soon be upon us.
Christmas time is a magical time here in Western New York and many area towns will have special tree lighting ceremonies.
Many of these towns will have special events surrounding the lighting of the town Christmas Tree. It is perfect for family fun and a great way to create some traditions for your family.
From ice skating to area school choirs singing Christmas songs, these tree lighting ceremonies are a fun way to get into the holiday spirit.
Also just know most of these ceremonies are based on the weather and in extremely bad weather, which is always a possibility here in Western New York, these ceremonies might be moved to a different time or day altogether.
Also, it is just now towns, cities, or villages that will be holding special tree lighting ceremonies this year.
Roswell Park will hold their annual Tree of Hope Celebration on Friday, December 10 starting at 4:30 pm. The celebration will include a candle-lighting ceremony, live music, light show, the lighting of the tree of hope. Admission is free to the event but you will have to pre-register and show that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
