The Buffalo Home Show - final weekend at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.  10 am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday.  Discover the hottest trends in the all-new, custom-built Design Home - a 1400 square foot home built right inside the convention center.  Check out the student-built Tiny House.  All kinds of decorating ideas for both inside and outside your home.


The 24th annual Old Neighborhood St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at noon at the Valley Community Center and proceeds on a route down South Park Avenue to Smith Street to Elk Street to Hamburg Street and South Street.  There's two post-parade parties at Tewksbury Lodge on Ohio Street and The Hooley at the Valley Community Center.

(Note:  the 2017 Buffalo St. Patrick's Day Parade on Delaware Avenue will take place next Sunday, March 19th at 2:00 pm)


 

Catholic Health, EPIC (Every Person Influences Children) and Safe Kids Western New York will be hosting Super Safety Saturday – a free child safety fair this Saturday, March 11 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Catholic Health’s Administrative & Regional Training Center at 144 Genesee Street in downtown Buffalo.  It’s a fun-filled, family event featuring informative displays, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities to help parents, grandparents and guardians keep their little ones safe. Certified child car seat technicians will offer car seat safety checks, by appointment at 447-6205.  Raffle prizes; free give-ways, including child bike helmets and carbon monoxide detectors (while supplies last); face painting; a live magic show; and fire truck display.


Lockport Women of the Moose #382 invite you to a "Chair"-ity Auction where you can bid on all kinds of chairs of all shapes and sizes that have been re-furbished in different themes.  There are chairs for kids and adults from educational to just fun and whimsical! Some chairs are functional, some are just decorative.  You gotta see it for yourself. No cover charge. Light snacks and beverages available. Doors open at 3:30.  Kip Garris is your auctioneer.  East 10th Street in Lockport. 


St. Leo the Great Church invites you to their St. Joseph's Table on Saturday, March 11th at 5:30 pm following 4:30 Mass.  Dinner includes a wonderful 8-course family-style dinner in honor of St. Joseph in the new parish center. This adult evening includes an authentic St. Joseph's Table with music, hors d’ oeuvres, theme baskets, 50/50 split club, dinner, vino and desserts.
