Hollywood Celebrity Gives a Shoutout to WNY First Responders Before Bills Game [VIDEO]
The Buffalo Bills are finally back at home for the first time in nearly one month. They host the Miami Dolphins at 1 pm at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park this afternoon, and it's also the first 1 pm kickoff since October 3rd against the Houston Texans.
If you're going to the game today, be sure to stick around for the halftime festivities. The Bills are celebrating the hard work from first responders in Western New York with a flag football game between the Orchard Park Fire Department and the West Seneca Police Department.
What's even cooler is when a Hollywood actor, who happens to be from Buffalo, takes time out to wish the Buffalo area first responders good luck.
William Fichtner has acted in blockbusters such as Armageddon and The Dark Knight, and is a longtime Bills fan. He wished the Orchard Park Fire Department and West Seneca Police Department good luck on Twitter yesterday.
I'll be at the game and I can't wait to see Orchard Park Fire and West Seneca Police in action on the field. I live in South Buffalo, near the border of West Seneca and my fiancee works in Orchard Park, so I know the hard work both of them do to protect our community here in Western New York.
As for the Bills game, they will have to deal with some light rain to start the game, but it will stay dry for most of it. It certainly won't be anything like the rain fest that was the Texans game on October 3rd.
