Mega Millions Winners In New York State

Plenty of people ponied up the $5 for a ticket from last night's Mega Millions drawing, but only a few are now holding onto a winner.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were 9 4th-place winning Mega Millions tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Mega Ball number.

Those tickets won between $1000-$2500 each based on the ticket's built-in Megaplier.

There were also 32 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball number.

Those tickets won between $400 and $1000 each based on each ticket's Megaplier.

Friday's Winning Mega Millions Numbers

Here were last night's winning numbers for the Mega Millions drawing: 18-30-44-48-50 with a Mega Ball of 12.

Did Anyone Win The Grand Prize Jackpot From The Mega Millions?

There was no grand prize-winning ticket sold from last night's Mega Millions drawing. There was one 2nd place winning ticket sold in North Carolina that won $1 million dollars.

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday is now up to $253 million dollars.

That jackpot would be one of the largest jackpots ever won by a New York State resident.
