It has been a rough day full of news coming from the Buffalo Bills front office. Some of the restructuring that we've been wondering about has been happening. Over the past couple of days, the Bills have made several roster moves that will have the team looking quite different during the 2024-25 season.

In addition to the Bills executing a trade that will give the team some additional picks in the 2024/25 NFL Draft, the team has already released quite a few players that you may recognize. Mitch Morse, Jordan Poyer, Nyheim Hines, and others were shown the door.

Now we're getting word that another fan favorite is out.

In a tweet from the team, Bills officials announced that Wide Receiver Deonte Harty has also been released.

The 26-year-old Harty, who played college ball at Division II Assumption College, started his career in New Orleans before signing a 3-year contract with the Bills in 2023. As a Bill, Harty played wide receiver and kick/punt returner roles in 16 games over the last season, scoring two touchdowns as a Bill.

Harty's release from the team will give the team just over $4 million in additional salary cap space for the 2024 season.

While the Bills' move isn't surprising, it is still shocking, as the team was facing a desperate financial situation for the 2024 season. Harty, now a free agent, will be free to look for work with another team.

We will have to wait and see what additional changes the Bills will make to the team as the off-season continues. Hopefully, this is all for the best because the Bills Mafia is ready to run towards the Super Bowl.
