New Jersey’s Football Teams Are Having A Terrible September

If you happen to be a football fan in the Big Apple, you might be having a pretty hard time being proud of your teams. The good news about this for those of you who call New York your home, your only hometown/state team is doing quite well as one of the few undefeated teams left in the NFL this season. However, if you find yourself a fan of the two fake New Jersey York teams, then by all accounts, you are not in a happy place.

Through week three of the 2025 NFL Season, both the New Jersey York Jets and New Jersey Giants have lost every game they've played this year, while the only true New York football team, the Buffalo Bills, are 3-0 after posting big wins against the Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins.

As the Bills look forward to NFL Week Four, where they host the New Orleans Saints, the Empire State's finest is favored to handily beat the Saints. While the Giants are expected to lose to the Cardinals and the Jets are expected to lose to the Dolphins.

Maybe it's finally time for those who are fans of the two football teams who call New Jersey home to accept the fact that both the Jets and Giants should give New York its names back, and for residents of the Big Apple to accept a hard truth: Buffalo is New York's team.
