East Aurora's Knox Farm Park Featured On CBS [VIDEO]

You may have driven past Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora in the past on your way to visit the Village of East Aurora. But have you ever stopped and sat in the park or walked through the fields and taken in the serenity of it all?

Over this past weekend, CBS Morning featured a video that highlighted the simple and natural beauty of one of the true gems in Western New York.

I grew up in East Aurora before Knox Farm was handed over to New York State and became a park. I was always impressed with the vast fields and the beautiful fences and barns. With the walking trails and the events that take place inside the park every year, it sure is great to see the park's beauty up close. It is also great to see that the national media sees the natural beauty of the park as well.

If you love music, Knox Farm is about to come alive when the Borderland Music and Art Festival takes over the park. The two day event, September 17 and 18, brings in some amazing talent and draws thousands! It is just another reason to visit a place that has become a centerpiece of the most popular town/village in Western New York. If you get a chance, when you visit the park, take a minute and looks beyond the people and notice the birds, animals and landscape of Knox Farm!
