List of Bills Players Who Won’t Play Today Against the Dolphins
The Buffalo Bills are looking to win their first game of the 2021 regular season this afternoon against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Bills will not only need to play better than they did against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 1, but also battle the intense heat down in Miami; with a heat index over 100 on the field.
The Bills just released their inactives for today's game and for a second-straight game, second round draft pick, defensive end Boogie Basham will not play. It appears to be purely a numbers game on the roster.
Defensive end Efe Obada also won't play against Miami and he also appears to be a healthy scratch, since Obada was not on Thursday's injury report.
The other players who won't play include tackle Tommy Doyle, linebacker Andre Smith, and defensive tackle Harrison Phillips.
This means the Bills will have four active running backs today: Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, Matt Breida and Taiwan Jones.
Jones will always be active, since he's a special teams ace for Buffalo. Breida might be a slight surprise over one of the defensive lineman. Moss was inactive last week, but will make his season debut today in Miami.
Kickoff between the Bills and Dolphins is at 1 pm. Miami won their opener last Sunday, 17-16 against the New England Patriots.
