Maddie & Tae's Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye have different takes on the Thanksgiving holiday. For Marlow, her favorite parts of the day are new traditions, while for Dye -- well, it's almost not about Thanksgiving.

"My family takes a trip every year in the month of November, so technically it's Thanksgiving ... We go to Branson, Mo., because they have everything set up for Christmas," Dye shares of her annual family outing. "This year, we're going the day after Thanksgiving ...

"There's a theme park called Silver Dollar City out there; it's kind of like Dollywood, but just even more decked out, and there's so many lights," she adds. "They have a giant Christmas tree, and we just go and ride rides and eat taffy."

Marlow, who recently married longtime love Jonah Font, says that her favorite traditions have changed as her family has grown.

"My [husband's] side of the family is Puerto Rican, so his grandma makes all this Puerto Rican food," Marlow says. She and Font have even learned to make empanadas themselves, and are considering challenging Grandma Lena to a a contest this year.

"It's so fun to get to have the traditional Thanksgiving meal with my family but then also getting to do all the Puerto Rican culture and food," Marlow adds.
