Major Chain Locking ALL 545 of its Doors in New York State on Friday
Another major chain is set to lock its doors for good starting on Friday.
There are some pretty great deals, though, that you can score.
JoAnn Fabrics is closing in New York State and the stores have some wild liquidation deals going on right now.
The last day that they will be open before locking their doors will be next Friday, May 23. We went to 2 of the locations, and here are some of the deals that we found:
- 36-inch potters only 8 bucks
- Fake flowers are only one dollar
- Wreaths only five bucks
- Picture frames for some canvases were only 2 dollars
- If you were trying to buy any fabrics, they are very cheap, but you are asked to buy a minimum amount. For the most part, the minimum was 2 yards.
Now, the deals ranged from about 50% off to 80% and when we asked some of the employees if the discounts would increase they said that they expect them to get to 90% by the beginning of next week. If it anything like the Big Lots closures, it is going to be mobbed so make sure that you get there early enough to score some of the deals.
All 545 stores are set to close. JoAnn's website also wants people beware of fake websites and to not buy anything off scam websites pretending to be JoAnn's and offering really deep discounts. At most of the stores some of the racks, furniture and equipment is ready to purchase as well at a good discount.
The last day that they will be open is this coming Friday.
