There is some great news for some workers in New York State as we get ready for the last quarter of the year to get underway.

As the fall begins, we are all waiting and watching to see what is going to happen with the interest rates. Will they come down? What is going on with inflation and will we start to see cheaper prices for the things we need?

All that remains to be seen and answered. However, there are some companies that are making life a little easier for it's employees as a large pay increase has been announced.

According to recent reports, some employees at Bank of America will be getting an hourly wage increase! ATM Marketplacer reports that: "Bank of America recently announced it increased its minimum wage to $24 hourly, with the plan to reach $25 by 2025. This applies to all part and full-time positions, according to a press release".

There are dozens of Bank of America locations across New York State.

As far as the average salary for workers here in New York State, the annual average is right around $52,000 which works out to be approximately $25 per hour.
