
Massive Moment For New York State At The Daytona 500
The Daytona 500 finally finished after a rain delay this past Sunday and New York State was well represented.
The end of the race was typically chaotic with a last lap wreck that allowed William Byron to get to the checkered flag first. William Byron became the fifth NASCAR driver to record back-to-back wins at the Daytona 500!
Among the highlights of the race, and an appearance from President Donald Trump, was the National Anthem.

It was a real treat to see Western New York native, Technical Sgt. Michael J. Aiello sing the anthem in front of a massive NASCAR crowd at the Daytona 500! Aiello is from Clarence, New York which is just outside of Buffalo.
The NASCAR Cup series will move on to Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.
