Matt Milano Will Miss More Time After Devastating Announcement
It has been a rough couple of months for Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano. Today, Bills fans got devastating news about him.
Last year, Matt Milano was on pace to become one of the NFL's most feared linebackers. He was attacking the ball with incredible speed. He was covering pass routes and being sent on blitzes. He was a menace.
Then he got injured in England.
It actually felt like good news that his leg was just broken and there wasn't ligament damage. He went to rehab and continued to work as it healed. He returned to camp and looked to be on the rebound to come back and be a force again.
Earler this week, that all changed again.
Matt Milano left practice with the rest of the team on Tuesday after being looked at by trainers. You could tell that he had an arm injury but everyone remained silent about it. Coaches weren't commenting at all on his status until today when they announced that he's got a torn bicep. He's going to miss more time.
It's devastating news.
As always, the team will be looking for the next man in line to step up and fill that spot but there will be big shoes to fill.
The linebacking corps being thin last year was a huge issue for the Bills especially in the playoffs. They ended up re-signing AJ Klein off his couch to play against the Chiefs. He understandably struggled and it cost the Bills.
Milano will undergo surgery and will be out for an indefinite amount of time.
