Movie Filmed in Western New York Has New Release Date in 2021
If you were hoping to see yourself or parts of your hometown in the movie "A Quiet Place II" you will have to wait a little longer to see it on the big screen.
Paramount Pictures has announced that the movie release date has been pushed back once again and it will be released in movie theatres instead of straight to streaming.
According to Digitalspy.com, the movie's release date has been changed for the third time since the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the United States.
The movie which was shot on location in Akron and on Grand Island was originally set to be released in March of 2020 but was pushed back until April of this year due to COVID-19.
It was going to be released on Paramount's streaming service in April, but now it will be released on September 17th and will be released in theaters.
"A Quiet Place II" is the sequel to John Krasinski's directorial debut that was released in 2018.
Krasinski also stars in both movies and the movie features his wife Emily Blunt as well.
"A Quiet Place II" follows the Abbott family as they found out that the creature that hunt by noise are not the only threats out there.
The movie was shot in parts of Western New York and the Grand Island bridges are featured in the trailer.
"A Quiet Place" made 188 million dollars in the United States and Paramount is hoping for a repeat performance with this new movie.
