First Look At Buffalo Bills’ New Highmark Stadium With Lights On
The Buffalo Bills' new stadium is almost complete. This week, they gave us a new first look at it with the outside facade lights on.
The New Highmark Stadium is now 96% complete
There have been plenty of people who thought there was no way the new Highmark Stadium would be complete in time to open to games in the fall. But according to Pete Guelli, the President of Business Operations, it is well along the way. He says it is 96% complete and on track for games to be played there this fall.
The Bills gave us a first look of the stadium at night
One of the things people have been wondering is what the stadium will look like at night. It's pretty obvious that it's going to be a lot different from the original Highmark Stadium in every way. Where the original had light poles that stand above the seats and are the highest point of the stadium, the new one is almost entirely enclosed. Those lights will all be inside.
So what will the new one look like from the outside? Pete Guelli gave us a sneak peek of that too. He took pictures to show us the first look of the new stadium with the facade lights on.
There's still more to be done
Of course, 96% isn't 100%, so there's still work to be done. We will still want to see the final look at night when the logo is lit up, and the Highmark Stadium Badge is illuminated. There will be more lights on the walkway up to the stadium, and there's still a ton to do inside. But it has come a long way and is looking great.
