New York Is the USA’s 3rd Most Fun State

We may not like the taxes or all the regulations, but the personal finance website WalletHub says New York is the country's third-most fun state in America.  In a recent report WalletHub says New York is:

• Number 1 in Restaurants per capita
• Number 1 in Movie Theatres per capita
• Number 1 in Performing Arts Theatres per capita
• Number 1 in Fitness Centers per capita
• Number 6 in Amusement Parks per capita
• Number 7 in Golf Courses and Country Clubs per capita

Another surprising one - New York was tied for Number 1 in most marinas per capita.

WalletHub compared the 50 states in two main categories; Entertainment/Recreation and Nightlife.

New York was Number 3 in Entertainment/Recreation and Number 4 in Nightlife.

California at Number-1 and Florida at Number-2 were the only states to receive higher grades.  The worst state for having fun?  West Virginia.
