All Public New York State Schools OFF Day After 2027 Super Bowl

All New York State public high school students and teachers are getting the day off of school after the Super Bowl.

First, the Super Bowl in 2027 will be later than usual.

Why will the Super Bowl be later than usual?

The National Football League will say that it is 'just the way that the schedule has played out'.  It is a well known fact that the day after the Super Bowl is one of the least-productive days of the year. Luckily for everyone involved, we will all be off (well, almost everyone) the day after the Super Bowl--which is great because hopefully, the Buffalo Bills are in it. The Buffalo Bills are in the top 2 best odds to make the Super Bowl this year.

The Super Bowl next year, will be on Valentine's Day AND Jim Kelly's birthday.

Valentine's Day, the Super Bowl and President's Day are all the same long weekend, THEREFORE all of the schools will be off for most New York State Public Schools, their first mid-winter break will fall on this week as well. Now, to be fair in New York State, they are looking forward to the Buffalo Bills possibly returning to a Super Bowl and if that is the case, it could truly be a wild week if a lot of parents and kids have off from work and school the week that the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl.
