The 2023 NFL Draft starts in less than three weeks. It will happen from April 27th to the 29th, with the first round taking place on Thursday night, April 27th.

The Buffalo Bills hold the 27th overall pick in the first round, which is an interesting spot to be in. That's because the further down the first round you go, the more uncertainty there is surrounding who would be available.

The Bills could go a few ways with that 27th overall pick. Many fans think wide receiver or linebacker will be the pick, which is something I agree with, although offensive and defensive lineman could be the pick as well.

One NFL insider/analyst has heard the Bills are looking to move up.

Matt Miller of ESPN reports that he's heard the Bills are eyeing to move up the draft board in the first round, which would be for either an interior offensive lineman or an offensive skill position player (wide receiver, running back).

How much the Bills would have to give up is all dependent on how far they are looking to move up in round one?

If the Bills want to move up 5-10 picks, then a multitude of third and fourth round picks might do, although giving up your 2023 second round pick also might be in the discussion if you're going up past 20.

If general manager Brandon Beane wants to move up 15 spots or more, then you're absolutely giving up your first round pick in 2024.

Hopefully, any move up isn't too much of a move and it's for a wide receiver. I am not a believer in moving up considerably in the first round for an offensive lineman, certainly not a guard or center.

If it's for Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Jordan Addison in the early 20's, then I would absolutely do that if the Bills are convinced they're going to be a stellar wide receiver for years to come.
