Outlaw Music Festival coming to Western New York
An amazing lineup of country and rock legends is coming together for one night in Western New York.
Live Nation announced today that the Outlaw Music Festival will be coming to Western New York this summer. The festival, headlined by country legend Willie Nelson, will feature a lineup of his family and friends featuring: Willie Nelson & Family, ZZ Top, Zach Bryan, Charley Crockett, and The War and Treaty.
The Outlaw Music Festival will make its WNY stop at Darien Lake Amphitheater on Sunday, August 14th. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 25th at 10 am. There will be reserved seating, lawn, and VIP packages available.
Willie Nelson said via a press release:
The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun, and with the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date. I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.
The Outlaw Music Festival held its first show back in 2016 in Scranton, Pennslyvania, and has morphed into a nationally touring event, with an ever-evolving lineup of talent.
Past performers have included: Robert Plant, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Church, Bonnie Raitt, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, and many more.
For fans looking to get a cross-section of musical performances from the last half-century, this year's Outlaw Music Festival is delivering a dream lineup in August at Darien Lake. Fans will also get their first Western New York look at the new age ZZ Top lineup since the passing of bassist and founding member Dusty Hill in 2021 at the age of 72.
