Overjoyed Parents Make History With All-Girl Quintuplets
There's such a thing as daddy's little girl. Well, get ready to meet daddy's little girls.
A Houston woman gave birth to five girls at Houston's Women's Hospital of Texas on April 8. Danielle Busby and her husband, Adam, welcomed the quintuplets, who are doing very well. It's believed to be the first set of all-girl quintuplets ever born in the US and the first to all survive birth in the entire world since 1969.
And you thought twins were impressive.
Amazingly, it only took four minutes for all girls to be delivered via C-section.
So far, Danielle says, all five girls appear to be healthy:
They're doing fabulous. They're so precious. They're doing really, really well, so fingers crossed."
The Busbys were already parents to one daughter, 4. If you're keeping score, the newest additions are named Olivia Marie, Ava Lane, Hazel Grace, Parker Kate and Riley Paige.
Danielle and Adam updated everyone about the babies in a YouTube video a few days after the births:
The couple also keep people abreast of their crazy adventure with a blog, which we'd have to think they're going to be too busy to update anytime soon.
Hmm, anyone else wondering how long it will take for them to get a reality show?
