New York State Region Is About To Set Massive Records
There is about to be a massive, and possibly record-setting weekend, in one area of New York State that could draw some of the largest crowds of the summer. If you are looking for THE place to be in New York State this weekend, look no further than the Capital Region.
The summer has been packed with concerts, festivals, fairs, and fun! From Buffalo to Albany, the weather has been great for outdoor fun. But the summer is fading, and Labor Day weekend will be here soon. However, before the "unofficial end" of the summer gets here, the next three days will make for a great grand finale!
If you love music, crowds, and possible record-setting moments, make plans to head to the Albany area of New York State.
Record Crowds Expected
Over the next few days, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, or SPAC, has a concert event each day, and each show has sold a huge number of tickets.
But that's not all...
Record-Breaking Horse?
Remember the horse, Sovereignty? The horse that drew huge attention in the early spring at the Kentucky Derby. Sovereignty is back in New York State this weekend in Saratoga, and if Sovereignty wins the Travers Stakes, he'll be the first horse to ever win the Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes, Jim Dandy, and Travers in the same year.
This is a great way to say goodbye to summer!
