It appears that New York State will have trick-or-treating, however.

According to WGRZ, Governor Andrew Cuomo appeared on News 12 in Long Island and said that he will not ban trick-or-treaters going door-to-door.

This news comes more than two weeks after New York State released guidelines on fall activities.

Hayrides, corn mazes, apple-picking, and haunted houses would be allowed to operate this fall in New York State, with added guidelines and restrictions in place.

We will see if there will be added restrictions for trick-or-treating, which seems likely (masks) or if the local government here in Western New York has anything to say or add in regards to trick-or-treating.
