Massive Bills Sand Sculpture Being Sculpted At Prohibition 2020 In Orchard Park
Tonight is the big night at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park as the Buffalo Bills start a new era in a new stadium, and there are already big things happening all around it.
Tailgating has already begun at Highmark Stadium
I drove up Abbott Road this morning just before 8 am on my way into the studio and there was already a lot happening. It's going to be crazy tonight when the Bills finally take the field. There were multiple private lots up and down the street that not only already had people in them, but there were fryers on. Music was playing. News stations were doing interviews and live shots.
It's going to be a little crazy.
A giant sand sculpture is being worked on right now
As I got to the corner of Abbott and Southwestern, I noticed a big pile of sand that was being sculpted under a tent. As I got closer, I saw what the sculpture was.

As you can see, the sculpture is of three Bills players with the numbers 12, 78, and what looks to be 34. Most Bills fans would recognize those players as Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, and Thurman Thomas, respectively.
See the sculpture at our Townsquare Media Tailgate Party
If you want to see this masterpiece for yourself, it's right in the parking lot where we will be hosting our tailgate party every home game this season. It's at Prohibition 2020 at the corner of Southwestern and Abbott. You won't be able to miss it.
We will have live music, plus signed memorabilia, WYRK, WBUF, and Bud Light swag, and more. We're right in the center of the chaos, so come see us before you head in!
