Direct Support Professional (Residential)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED preferred PLUS a Valid New York State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record within Agency’s criteria.

Information Security Specialist 

Full-Time position located in Elma, NY.

Under the direction of the designated Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Security Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization's computers and network from viruses, malware, security breaches, malicious attacks in order to mitigate the risk of critical data from being disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems + 1-year experience in information security-focused role OR

Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems PLUS 2 years’ experience in information security-focused role OR

Equivalent combination of education and experience as noted above.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of computer programming and risk management.
  • Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems, including firewalls, password protection and authentication, and site-specific controls on physical access to computers.
  • Excellent and constructive interpersonal skills.

Registered Nurse

Full-time - Monday - Friday Days; Work remotely; Limited on-site

Summary of Duties:

Oversee the health care of developmentally disabled adults in assigned group homes and/or day habilitation program setting and advise/train direct support staff on their needs so they can provide the required medical support.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Associates in Nursing. Current New York State license to practice as an RN. Valid Driver’s License and mode of transportation to travel between assigned locations.

Director of Supported Employment Program

Full-Time exempt (35 hr) position based in Hamburg. Paid time off, health, dental, 401(k). $48,000-mid $50,000.

Coordinates programs and services for supported employment in community settings. This position serves as Senior Case Manager for individuals participating in supported work. Develops service plans and monitors progress against personal and employment objectives. Responsible for supported work programs, schedules, required reports, regulatory compliance and other functions that may be required to provide appropriate programs. The Coordinator of Supported Employment Programs is responsible for providing supervision and evaluation for staff assigned to supported work programs at multiple locations. Provides liaison function between the employers providing the supported work and Sasi. Assists with caseloads, when necessary, to ensure delivery of supports.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field PLUS one (1) year of experience consisting of a combination of paid vocational rehabilitation and paid employment support experience;

PLUS one-year supervisory experience

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or related field PLUS four (4) years’ experience consisting of a combination of paid vocational rehabilitation and paid employment support experience; including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
