Police say two teens (who were 16 and 17 years old) were stabbed during an apparent argument that took place at the plaza just before 9 am.

Two Emerson School of Hospitality students were stabbed after Buffalo School of Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management students started what Buffalo Public Schools describe as a "violent altercation."

The good news is while both sustained injuries, neither are described as life-threatening according to Buffalo Police. Both students were released to their parents later on Wednesday. Those three Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management students have been suspended, per WIVB.

As of now, Buffalo Police are continuing their investigation, and anyone who was there and knows of further details, is asked to call or text the Buffalo Police confidential tip line: (716) 847-2255.

I work in Downtown Buffalo and noticed the large police presence myself. It's scary to think that took place in the daylight like that, at a time that many are getting to work, but it's good that neither injury sustained by the teens is life-threatening.
