Sean McDermott Has Amazing, Heartwarming Message for Buffalo
The Buffalo Bills won their game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, to improve to 7-3 on the 2022 season.
The Bills and Browns played at Ford Field in Detroit, after the game was moved out of Orchard Park because of the historic lake effect snowstorm, that dumped 7 feet of snow on Orchard Park and anywhere from 4-6 feet of snow on other parts just south of the downtown area of Buffalo.
The Bills had a horrible start to the game, as it appeared the Browns would win convincively; however, the Bills scored a late touchdown in the first half and played their best half in weeks in the second half, capping off the 31-23 victory.
The Bills and coaches had a hard time on Saturday. They had to dig out of their homes in the south towns, just to get to One Bills Drive. Many carpooled and were helped out by the residents of Buffalo.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott spoke after the win and had some very heartwarming words for the City of Buffalo.
McDermott thanked Buffalo for helping them on Saturday and as for the win, McDermott said "everyone back in Buffalo who is still digging out, that one's for you."
The Bills will travel back to Buffalo on Monday and then leave for Detroit once again on Wednesday, as they will next play the Lions on Thanksgiving.
That's the annual 12:30 pm start on Thanksgiving for the NFL at Ford Field. It will mark the third time in four years that the Bills have played on Turkey Day.
