Bills Player Tweets: “Disrespect Hamlin, That Gets You Beat Up”
Monday was locker room cleanout day at One Bills Drive and one player we did not hear from was wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Diggs left the locker room early, before the media could speak to him after the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional round at Highmark Stadium. Diggs was also not present to the media on Monday.

Diggs did take to Twitter on Monday evening to tweet his thoughts. He admitted he was frustrated during and after the game but he will not back down from showing that emotion. He said the Bills did not play up to their standards.
Then Bengals cornerback Eli Apple, who is notoriously famous for troll tweets, tweeted at Diggs and Josh Allen on Monday night. Apple's tweets didn't sit well with Bills fans but one tweet in particular was the one that went viral.
It appears to make fun of Diggs and the Damar Hamlin medical situation.
That tweet caught the attention of the Bills players. Defensive end Shaq Lawson responded on Tuesday, tweeting at Apple that if he disrespects Damar Hamlin, "that sh*t will get you beat up for real."
Apple knows he's a troll on Twitter but his tweet last night is the one that crossed the line and I don't think we have seen the last of Bills players responding to Apple on social media. He may have now created a distraction for him and the Bengals going into their AFC Championship game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
By the way, Apple is a free agent in 2023 but the Bills do visit the Bengals on the regular season schedule.
