T-Pain Is Coming Back To Buffalo, Hitting Stage At Outer Harbor

T-Pain is scheduled to come back to Buffalo this summer as live concerts make a comeback. A few years ago I hosted the T-Pain show at Canalside. It was bananas. The show was sold out and people tried climbing over the gates to get in to see the Tallahassee-native.

Rising to fame in 2005 with is debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga which produced the hit single “I’m N Luv,” T-Pain followed up in 2007 with his second studio album “Epiphany.” Featuring smash hits “Bartender” and “Buy U a Drank,” Epiphany rose to #1 on the US Billboard Top 200 chart. Born Faheem Rasheed Najm, T-Pain has collaborated with some of the biggest names in rap and hip-hop, winning a Grammy Award in 2008 for Best Rap Song for “Good Life” with Kanye West. ~ Buffalo Outer Harbor

Funny story, I lived in Tallahassee back when T-Pain and the Nappy Boyz were trying to make it big. He would come into this hole-in-the-wall spot I used to DJ at, Mt. Zion. He was always really cool, but he definitely was putting in work to become the star that he is today.

Alright, back to what you're really here for...the show. Here's what you need to know:

The Outer Harbor Concert Series featuring T-Pain will take place on Sunday, May 29, 2022, from 5 to 10 pm at the Lakeside Event Lawn presented by Upstate Honda Dealers. Parking will open at 4 pm and gates open at 5 pm. The Outer Harbor encourages people to use ride-sharing, since parking is first-come, first-served.

General admission tickets are $24.00 per person. VIP tickets, which include access to the Honda VIP Tent, an exclusive viewing area, and two free drinks, are $49 per person. You can also buy meet and greet VIP tickets for $148 or Nappy Boy Gaming Experience tickets for $324, which includes VIP tickets and,

25,000 People Turned Up with T-Pain at Canalside [Pictures]

Some of the pics aren't as clear as I hoped because the stage lighting was interfering, but they will still give you an idea of how great the show was! I had a great time hosting the show!! By 8:30, Canalside had reached it's capacity of 25,000 people! I asked the management if any other show had reached capacity and they said "no!" T-Pain literally came through and smashed the city!
