We have all heard the narratives about Buffalo and Western New York from those who don’t live here.

“There’s nothing to do here” or “it’s always cold.”

Yes, we have a winter and Buffalo is not as large as other major markets like New York City, Chicago or Los Angeles, but ask any local and they will tell you that June-October in Western New York is gorgeous.

We also have tons of great local events that take place ever summer and for foodies, a popular one has announced its return this summer.

According to a press release, Taste of Buffalo is returning to Downtown Buffalo on July 9th and 10th.

It will take place on Delaware Ave. from Chippewa into Niagara Square.

Admission will be free with food ticket tents at the event, along with pre-sale ticket vouchers sold at TOPS Friendly Markets.

This is the 39th annual Taste of Buffalo.

This news comes a week after Canal Fest announced it will finally return to the Tonawandas this July.

Our own Taste of Country takes place on Friday, June 17th at Sahlen Field and we know other great events and festivals will be taking place this summer in Western New York.

I can’t wait for all these fairs and festivals to return to the region this summer. It’s been a long time since we have had a summer to look forward to as much as 2022.
