There are parking lots around the city that charge 24/7 to park in their lots. However, if you have not paid for parking on a regular basis, there is a chance the you could find a boot has been placed on your vehicle.

The City of Buffalo has some specific laws that deal directly with private lots and the fines they might charge to get a boot off the car or truck that you have.

According to reports, the City of Buffalo has a law that limits the amount of money a private lot can charge to remove a boot from a vehicle.

"The charge for booting a vehicle in a private lot, that is not a pay-for-parking lot, cannot exceed $75".
