
Trump Orders Flags to Be Lowered for Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton's passed away at the age of 80 years old this week and President Trump has ordered that all American flags are lowered to half staff for the rest of the week.
The order went in effective as of 6:00 p.m. last night.
Dolly Parton was open about her previous health problems including kidney stones, some infections, dizziness, and dehydration. Last week Dolly Parton even virtually accepted an award at the ACM honors and also virtually introduced a new ride happening at her theme park Dollywood.
When is Dolly Parton going to be buried?
On her social media her family made it clear that it was going to be a very private and intimate funeral for Dolly Parton. Fans wishing to send flowers there asking instead to donate to her charity, Dolly's Imagination Library, which sends books once a month to any kid in the United States until they are 5 years old.
Dolly Parton wasn't just country music she was everywhere and everything and it was amazing to see the tributes from around the world pour in--from Paul McCartney to Eminem to country stars like Reba, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Dolly was one of those people that felt like she would live forever and she will be missed.
