Tyreek Hill To Miami Is Good For Buffalo Bills
Before you do and blow a gasket and say that Tyreek Hill is a superstar and Miami is lucky to get him, I agree. He is super talented and brings a dangerous weapon to the Dolphin's offense. This rant isn't about him.

This rant is about the person throwing the ball to Hill. Currently, that person is Tua Tagovailoa. Tua, who was selected with the 5th overall pick in the 2020 draft after a stellar career at Alabama is the problem.
In three seasons with the Dolphins, Tua has not shown the arm strength and accuracy on a deep ball that makes Hill one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the game. His speed is what separates Hill from players like Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, and Justin Jefferson.
Sure Hill will get some yards on the short crossing patterns and shallow routes run while using a West Coast offensive scheme that Miami uses. but running those routes also leads Hill to take more hits on his smaller frame, which is something he didn't have to worry about in Kansas City.

So that brings us back to the arm of Tua Tagovailoa. He was never known to have elite arm strength like Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes. Because of that lack of a true deep ball, Hill's best asset is neutralized.
In his two seasons with the Miami Dolphins so far, Tua has averaged 6.55 yards per pass. In those same two years, Josh Allen has averaged 7.25 yards per pass. Almost a whole extra yard. Three extra feet, which is big in a game of inches.
The threat of Josh Allen's arm makes the defense play off the wide receiver just in case they run right by them. Defenses play the Dolphin's wideouts a bit tighter since they are overly concerned about Tua's long ball.
So as Dolphin fans celebrate getting one of the best wide receivers in the game, Bills Mafia shouldn't be too worried.
